I can’t believe my baby is already 8 years old! This year I made him a pumpkin and peanut butter layered cake that will probably take him a week to eat.

A French Bridal Shower
The bride got engaged in Paris so I wanted to do a French theme without it being too Bridesmaids. She and I are both huge Doctor Who fans so I decided to base the theme off of the episode The Girl in the Fireplace which takes place in the Palace of Versailles. (more…)

A Literary Walk Through Paris
I wish I could have done this walk during the day so I would have had better photos, but it was still amazing to knowingly walk the same streets as some of the literary greats. Points of interest include the homes of Gertrude Stein, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and Orwell. I’ve added other points of interest as well such as Shakespeare & Company and the steps from Midnight in Paris. (more…)
